Full Throttle
Number four on our list is from long time adventure juggernaut Lucasarts. In Full Throttle you take on the role of a burly biker who finds himself in a dumpster behind a bar, without a ride and being framed for a murder he knows nothing about. You take on the big corporation as you fight your way through their gons to clear your name. Innovative puzzles and crisp animations for its time make this a classic. Back in 2003 a trailer was shown for a sequal. Sadly this never saw the light of day.

Day Of The Tentacle
The third title on this list is also from Lucasarts. Day Of The Tentacle sees you control a group of freaks, one a nerd, one a stoner and one a blonde that probably has trouble lacing her shoes. You work together to foil Purple tentacle’s evil plot to polute the main water line. In an attempt to travel through time, our party of three is sent all over the past, present and future. Enabling some fun time-based puzzling. Day Of The Tentacle is one game that always brings a smile to my face when i think about it.

Leisure Suit Larry In The Land Of The Lounge Lizzards
Number two brings us back to a time where a video game could easily fit onto a floppy disk. Where a few white blocks could represent a man in a suit. And a time where you could enforce a minimum age by adding a quiz to the startup of your game. Leisure Suit Larry spawned an entire series of video games, from the eitghties up to the current generation. It seems only a matter of time until a revamped version of this classic makes its way into digital download platforms.

Monkey Island 3: The Curse Of Monkey Island
First on our list is another Lucasarts adventure game. The Monkey Island series brings swashbuckling piratry a computer near you. This was the first time that we could hear Guybrush Threepwood, the mighty pirate, speak in this longrunning series. Combining puzzling with interesting characters and an improved insult swordfighting system, this game kept you hooked.
